purpose & description
Again, I'm so obsessed with this top. It's a much better view of it than the last outfit I posted [Christmas Eve]. I love the ruffles, and the color is great, but I've determined I'm stuck in a rut, only buying red, black, grey, and royal blue. I don't care what people say about skinnies being out of style. I still wear mine religiously. They are so versatile and fit great! They've got a real classic look. And yes, I DO own a pair of jean trousers for those of you wondering. The purse is "vintage," I guess. By this, I mean, I found it in the bottom of my mom's closet ages ago! One of her exes' moms gave it to her, and thank God for me, she doesn't throw much of her old bags or jewelry away! That's where I get my best stuff! The shoes are patent, gold buckled, Marc Fisher flats. The earrings are fun and big, and pick up the cold in the flats and clutch. Our New Year's Eve festivties were very low-key and super fun, just a small group of close friends singing and laughing and talking and joking. We talked until the sun came up, and I was comfy and cute the whollllle time!

The red shirt looks a little bit too flashy for a low key event. Also, since it is a festive event, instead of wearing ballet flats, flip flops would be more appropriate. The ear rings are nice but once again, would they be too much for something low key?
