Wore this to one of my best friends' baby shower. Express sweater dress, black tights, black Christian Louboutin platform heels, pink ruffle Hollywould for Target clutch, silver hoops and cocktail ring.

I hate this for a baby shower. You need a necklace...a long loud one to offset the fact that the dress is so gray. Those shoes are different, but the satin with the sweater really don't go. I like each piece separately.

The clutch is definitely more of an evening bag. So if you just switch it up with something more casual like a slouchy bag, I think this outfit is baby shower appropriate!

hmm, I don't really get the over-the-topness of it. The clutch and the shoes are maybe a bit too "evening" for a baby shower, but that would be easily fixed with some kitten heels and a hobo bag.

Hmmm, I think it's a little too clubby/night-on-the-town for a baby shower, althoughI do like the outfit. One way to tone it down would be to hike up the dress, wear some dark denim jeans under and some ballet flats, maybe a nice baby pink.
