I see what you are going for...lets keep the sweater, and re-think the rest. The shirt should be more blousey librarian, and less casual . Maybe a muted tone or grey, and even a floral or pattern with a bow front. 'Then the jeans totally negate the librarian thing. Try some grey trouser shorts...and black or grey opaque tights, which will show off those fab shoes.

Actually, you know what, Couturable said exactly the right thing. Sweater needs to accentuate your shape more, jeans shouldn't cover the gorgeous shoes.

Like everything except that the sweater hangs loose around the waist. If there were some way to make it tighter, this would be really cute.

While I appreciate the theme, I think the yellow top is a little on the shapeless side, and the boots should not be covered by your jeans. I'd get a better fitting sweater top instead, with a black pencil skirt to wear with the shoes.

I'm loving the booties...this is definitely a librarian look -- although I don't particularly like the jeans because the dress looks too long for it. Perhaps you could replace it with some tights.

How about these earrings instead of the necklace?: http://www.winknyc.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=69&products_id=878
