I don't like the look together but I like the dress. I think that you need another style shoe because the dress makes a staemnet on it's own. A cute cropped jacket in red or white woul be cool.

And please amend your declaration about where this could be worn to "can be worn to almost any fancy STANDING occasion", as a strapless dress looks dreadful on a lady seated at dining table, giving the disturbing impression she may be lurking naked behind the water glasses.
