purpose & description

I love this colorful shirt dress that I found at a consignment shop. It's originally from Paris. Oooh la la! I wear it at work and at play. This time, I paired the eyecatching dress with jeans, oval hoop earrings, a couple chunky bracelets, wedge sandals, and a hobo bag.

I think the dress would look a lot better with black leggings, not jeans.

I dont like the jeans...it would be fantastic with either black leggings or just bare legs. It is a fantastic dress.

why are you wearing jeans with this?

I love the dress but HATE it with the jeans! I also don't really like the shoes, I think you should opt for gold flat strappy sandals instead. Wear the dress PLAIN though, pants or leggings really aren't necessary due to the length.

I want that dress! It's beautiful. The jeans ruin it though. It would look nice with bare legs and the sandals, and the bag and bangle.

I think this dress could be worn with black skinny jeans (as suggested below) or on its own. If you wear it by itself, you could wear it with some cute slightly round-toed black patently leather pumps from Nine West and NO big bangles, only delicate jewelry, like some small drop crystal earrings in the same colors as the dress.

i dont like the bootcut jeans with it underneath ... you should wear it with skinnies it would balance your shape out moreso than being straight up and down

This outfit is unbalanced and too much. You can loose the jeans all together. The top is great and the colors look awesome on you. I would do it as a dress, but if you need a bottom, do some simple black leggings with some simple black flats. Love the bangles with the top/dress

I think the dress is fine on its own. You don't need a lot of jewelry. Keep it simple: Dress, Bag, Shoes. The jeans don't flatter the dress at all. This dress would look great with high-heeled boots or wedges. I like the hobo bag. It's awesome.

I agree, but what a wonderful dress and print!

Cute dress! Instead of jeans, how about some black leggings to make your dress (and your shoes) stand out. The jeans seem to be weighing the whole outfit down
