purpose & description

I wore this to a wedding last spring. The dress is vintage, a gorgeous pink floral print with a thin belted waist and scoop back. Above the zipper in the back there's fabric to tie into a cute little bow to accentuate the low back. The shoes are white peep-toe pumps that I think I got at some cheap place like Rack Room Shoes. I carried a white clutch, but decided to forego other accessories to put the focus on the dress.

The dress looks amazing on you, and I love how the white shoes seem to "pop" against the pink. very nice :)

I like the dress. It's very vintage and cute! It's not a pattern that everyone can work and look good in, but the dress fits you well and you didn't overwhelm it or wear the wrong shoes. Cute.

Although I am not a fan of it, some people like this style. Just a piece of advice, no one is going to notice the dress when wearing it with stark white shoes (opt for a less attention-getting color)

That is very Jackie Kennedy-"The White House Years". It's perfect. It looks very comfortable. Isn't it funny when you go weddings and you see people that look like they got dressed in the dark? You definitely do not fall into that category.

4 words: WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? That dress is absolutely hideous, especially on you. And the shoes? Since when does bright ugly magenta go with plastic-y off white shoes? GROSS! So in response to the name of this site, yes this looks stupid.

Oh. My. Gosh. I. Love. This. Dress. I think you should wear it with pearl earrings and maybe a slim Anne Klein type watch. I think a pearl necklace would be too perfect and expected.

This is very Donna Reed retro. You definitely need a strand of pearls. I like the throw-back of the peep-toe pumps, but I'm not a fan of white shoes unless they are extraordinary. I think some strappy silver sandals would be fab with this. And for kitch, maybe a pair of vintage white gloves. And a great big, brimmed floppy hat.
